Transparency plays an important role in everything we do. Our products are always traceable and therefore transparent. It is also important that we are honest in our relationships with both suppliers and customers. Together, we are then assured of a satisfied end user.

Team
It all started with several hectares of our own crops and processing, which grew to over 450 hectares of carrots with a team of more than 125 people. With our knowledge that we also share with our employees, we see the passion growing in them too. In this way, we train real professionals.

Director/owner – Peter Matthijssen
As a teenager, Peter Matthijssen was already working for a carrot grower in his free time. From a young age, he developed a passion for agriculture, and particularly for root crops. At the end of 2004, he founded Top Fresh B.V. with his ideals to grow and process root crops with a better flavour and quality.
Managing director – Annet van Steen
Annet van Steen was born and raised in the Noordoostpolder. As the daughter of an arable farmer, agriculture was her life from the start. At Top Fresh, the combination of growing and processing, from ‘land to customer’ provides her with an interesting challenge. She has worked at Top Fresh since 2013 and has been Managing Director since 2021.
